Every year, 15M+ tons of recyclable asphalt shingles are dumped into U.S. landfills
Waste asphalt shingles take 300+ years to decompose, leaching harmful toxins into topsoil and surface water as the shingle elements break down. Not only is this an environmental hazard, but it overlooks their potential use in sustainable fuel and other valuable resources – at a time when the U.S. is searching for just that.
Transforming Waste Into Profitable Returns
Our patented ECOSolv technology enables the recovery of both bitumen and other materials from discarded asphalt shingles and turns them into cost-effective products that can be sold in the market.
We Get Paid to Take Waste
One of the most striking aspects of our business model is the collection of "tipping fees", or the amount we're paid to receive feedstock ($45-$120 per ton). These tipping fees are anticipated to offset the majority, if not all, of the costs associated with processing and breaking down the shingles, allowing almost all revenue from product sales to contribute directly to our bottom line.

Our Innovative, Eco-Friendly Technology
We’ve patented a multi-step process and technologies with the power to turn waste into wealth
Waste asphalt shingles are ground into coarse granular chunks, nails removed.
The ground-up material is then introduced to our solvent, creating a fluid slurry that dissolves the bitumen.
The bitumen and solvent rise to the surface, while the solids sink. The remaining solids are then sorted, cleaned, and prepared for market.
Heat is applied to separate the bitumen from the solvent. The bitumen is then stored and the solvent is captured for re-use.
$50M in Revenue Last Year
We have the potential to expand into markets like sustainable aviation fuels, shingle manufacturers, construction and paving industries, carpet manufacturers, heavy transportation, the carbon credit market, and carbon fiber production. We’ve secured several LOIs for shingle supply and material handling, and we have ongoing informal discussions with numerous shingle manufacturers.

Our Facilities
Eagle Springs
In October 2022, Sky Quarry purchased Foreland Refining Corporation, which is engaged in the refining of heavy crude oil into diesel and other petroleum products at its Eagle Springs Refinery located near Ely, Nevada. With annual revenues of over $50 million, the acquisition of this refinery is immediately accretive to our revenues and provides a strong base for growth.
Eagle Springs currently processes approximately 480,000 bbls of oil annually and management plans to commission the refinery to process the waste oil from the PR Spring facility, aiming to boost production to one million bbls of sustainable oil per year.
PR Springs
Acquired in 2020, the PR Spring facility is situated on nearly 6,000 acres of land with an estimated resource of approximately 180 million barrels of hydrocarbon resources. Liquid asphalt is the foundation for our waste-asphalt-shingle recycling, processing and blending operations. This acquisition ensures that we can achieve the quality we need to provide top-tier infrastructure products like asphalt- paving oil and diesel fuel.
The retrofitting of the PR Spring facility with our solvent technology is currently underway and is expected to be completed and commissioned in 2025.

Sky Quarry makes money through a multi-faceted business model that capitalizes on the recycling of waste asphalt shingles (WAS). Here’s a breakdown of their revenue streams:
- Tipping Fees: They collect fees from roofing contractors and waste management companies for accepting and processing waste asphalt shingles, turning a cost usually associated with waste disposal into a revenue source.
- Sale of Recycled Products: After processing the waste shingles, Sky Quarry produces and sells several products.
- Potential to earn carbon credits
Sky Quarry is already generating revenue. The products they make, from asphalt oil to shingle components, are in demand. Plus, they get paid a tipping fee for the WAS.

Investing in startups is risky and there is no guarantee you will get a return on your investment. However, an exit opens up the opportunity where you could convert your shares into cash or a more liquid asset. Exits include going public or getting acquired by a larger company. If the value of our company grows, then you have a higher potential of making a profit on your investment during one of these exits. No public market currently exists for the securities, and if a public market develops following the offering, it may not continue.
The plan is to build a successful, valuable company creating shareholder value through revenue and earnings growth. Exit opportunities like an acquisition could follow in due course if we are able to demonstrate the value our technology brings to the marketplace.
We are focused on the upcycling of asphalt shingles.
